We are on the Tennessee Farmers Market Trail!
Exciting news! The Murfreesboro Saturday Market is one of five Tennessee farmers markets on the new Tennessee Farmers Market Trail, launching this weekend. This unique experience connects five vibrant farmers' markets, each offering its own mix of fresh produce, handmade goods, and community charm. From seasonal fruits and vegetables to baked goods and artisan products, every stop along the trail is a chance to meet local farmers, support small businesses, and explore something new. Visit each location, check in, and collect a one-of-a-kind sticker as you go. Complete all five stops and earn a special Farmers Market Trail tote—plus, every QR code check-in at the market enters you to win a $200 farmers market gift card to the market of your choice. Start your trail adventure this Saturday by checking in at our information tent. We will have details and your free trail sticker.
The Murfreesboro Saturday Market is excited to be a part of this first step in creating a state-wide trail of farmers markets. The trail connects farmers markets and agritourism destinations across Tennessee, inviting visitors to explore local food, meet farmers, and experience the rich agricultural heritage of our state. Free Loyalty Cards-Three Weeks Remaining In May
Remember, the Saturday Market is giving out FREE market loyalty cards again this season. Stop by our information tent at the market to pick up a new card or get your May card punched for a visit. There are FIVE weeks in May, and you only have to get a stamp for THREE weeks to enter the monthly drawing.
Our vendors donate gift cards and merchandise for the six monthly drawings. The value of each month's drawing is from $60-$80 (or more). Stop by the Saturday Market information tent and pick up your 2026 May loyalty card on Saturday for free. There are still three weeks remaining to qualify for this month's drawing. Master Gardeners of Rutherford County
The Master Gardeners of Rutherford County will be at the Saturday Market this week ( their spot is just across from Holden's Hardware). Visit with them to learn more about "Right Plant in the Right Space" to have more success with your spring planting. They can also answer other gardening questions and share information about the Master Gardeners program and how to get involved.

Rutherford County Government hosts America 250 Free Day Saturday 11-6
Rutherford County Government sponsors "Celebrate America 250" at Oakland's Park (427 Robert's Street) this Saturday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. All activities are free and family-friendly. Starting the day off with a live puppet show for kids at 11:00 am, then Author Jeff McKenna speaks about his book, "Saving Dr. Warren...A True Patriot". At 1:00 pm, anyone can participate in "Red, White, and Blue Bingo." The day's activities go out with a bang at 2:30 with a free concert by Rubik's Groove (an '80s tribute band). There will be free activities throughout the day, including painting a tile that will be part of a Mural Mosaic for downtown Murfreesboro. Also, free Evergreen Cemetery tours from 11 am to 5 pm.
Parking is available at Oakland's Park and at the Murfreesboro City Police Station across the street.
