Trick or Treat
on the Square
cancelled due to covid-19

Each October, little ghosts and goblins haunt Murfreesboro’s Courthouse Square — but before it gets dark, of course. Main Street annually organizes Trick or Treat on the Square, made possible by the generosity of downtown merchants. The sidewalks are always packed.  Sadly, this year we are cancelling the event due to COVID-19 and the inability to socially distance with this many families walking in single file around the square.  In order to protect our small business owners and the community we have made this decision.  Main Street encourages families to dress up, walk around downtown and look at the scarecrows, visit the Saturday Market, and shop or eat locally.
