The 2020 “Taste of Rutherford” was an unqualified success!

This annual fundraiser helps Main Street raise needed funds to continue our mission of promoting the downtown as the heart of the community.

Saturday, July 18, 2020 saw downtown Murfreesboro’s Cannonsburgh Pioneer Village come to life during a most remarkable ‘Taste of Rutherford’. 

More than 275 attendees enjoyed a pleasant breeze, live music provided by the Tennessee Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and delicious food and drink provided by more than 25 local vendors. 

Main Street Murfreesboro Executive Director Sarah Callender stated, “Thanks to the overwhelming support from community businesses with sponsorships for Taste of Rutherford, we were able to have a successful fundraiser and encourage social distancing during this time.”

 Callender noted, “Main Street was able to raise budgeted funds to help carry-out our mission to promote and enhance historic downtown throughout the year. We were able to give back to the restaurants for participating this year, thanks to our many sponsors.”
